____________________________________________________________ PacificSport Northern BC presents High Performance Sport Conditioning. This program has been designed for dedicated athletes ages 13 and up. Each program will run for 8-weeks and take place at the Charles Jago Northern Sport Centre. You can choose any of the 4 focus areas. Athletes are more successful if they can do multiple focuses. Athletes must stick with the same day & time-slot for the 8-weeks. Strength SAQ (Speed, Agility & Quickness)
* Register for more than one program and only pay $135 per additional $135 for PacificSport Northern BC carded athletes Cost: $189 for 24 sessions (2 days/week for 12 weeks)
Introduction to Weight Training
This program is designed for athletes who will be using a weight training program for the first time. Athletes will receive a generic program design and be supervised during the sessions. Emphasis will be on proper etiquette, exercise technique & the development of strength in all the main muscle groups. Program includes two supervised 75-minute sessions per week.
Pre-requisite: 15 years old or consultation with coach Cost: $199 for 24 sessions (2 days/week for 12 weeks)
Under the direction of experienced and certified coaches, children ages 6-12 will have fun while participating in a variety of Olympic & Paralympic sports! Each day will include 2-3 different sports. Some of the sports may include: Lacrosse, Wheelchair Basketball, Volleyball, Kayaking, Judo, Gymnastics, Speed Skating, Basketball, Wrestling & Badminton.
It has been proven that many athletes do not reach their true athletic potential and never achieve their ultimate peak performance because they didn’t learn the basics when they were young. Athlete Fundamentals will spark a passion and enthusiasm in young athletes while developing a foundation of movement skills. The skills will be fun, self-motivating and will enhance the athletes’ development in the sport of their choice! Through out this 8-week program, athletes will work on 7 key fundamental skills related to all sports: speed, flexibility, coordination, strength, balance, stamina & agility.
