BC Olympic and Paralympic Youth Leadership Academy

The Canadian Sport Centre Pacific is pleased to be a partner of the BC Olympic and Paralympic Youth Leadership Academy (BCOPYLA).  Although CSC Pacific focuses primarily on the performance end of the sport continuum, it does strongly believe that is important to play a role in the development of new sport leaders.

The BC Olympic Youth Leadership Academy was established in 1999 to demonstrate to BC youth that, not unlike Olympic and Paralympic athletes, any goal is attainable through hard work and perseverance. The Academy exposes students to the ideals and values of the Olympic Movement, while furthering their personal and leadership development.

The BCOPYLA is a provincial program that complements those at the national and international levels, specifically the Olympic Academy of Canada (OAC) and the International Olympic Academy (IOA).
