About Us

PacificSport Vancouver was created specifically to serve the athletes, coaches, and volunteers of the Greater Vancouver area. The Vancouver-based centre located within the Sport Campus BC in Richmond serves as home to athletes and coaches of all levels, from regional to international.

Funded by the Canadian Sport Centre - Pacific, PacificSport Vancouver’s success is attributed to excellent training facility access, dedicated coaching support, exemplary volunteers, and most importantly, strong relationships with local and provincial sport organizations.  Together we are partners in Powering Sport Performance.

In the lead up to the 2010 Games, we will continue to work with our sport partners, 2010 LegaciesNow, Spirit of BC Community Committees and our own community to ensure a strong representation of BC athletes on the national team and the healthiest communities to ever host an Olympic and Paralympic Games.

PacificSport Vancouver is part of the PacificSport Family Network (Fraser Valley, Interior BC, Northern BC, Okanagan, Sea to Sky, Vancouver Island, Victoria) that links performance athletes and coaches with essential services to give them the physical, psychological and competitive edge to reach the podium. Working with the existing sport system, the centres coordinate access and delivery of life and support services including access to fitness facilities, educational opportunities and athlete and coach grants.
