About Us

PacificSport Victoria was created specifically to serve the athletes, coaches, and volunteers of the Greater Victoria area. The Victoria-based centre serves as home to athletes and coaches of all levels, from regional to international.

Funded by investments from various partnerships, including the Canadian Commonwealth Legacy Fund and the Province of BC, PacificSport Victoria’s success is attributed to excellent training facility access, dedicated coaching support, exemplary volunteers, and most importantly, strong relationships with local and provincial sport organizations.  Together we are partners in Powering Sport Performance.

In the lead up to the 2010 Games, we will continue to work with our sport partners, 2010 LegaciesNow, Spirit of BC Community Committees and own our community to ensure a strong representation of BC athletes on the national team and the healthiest communities to ever host an Olympic and Paralympic Games.

PacificSport Victoria is part of the Canadian Sport Centre Network (Atlantic, Calgary, Manitoba, Montréal, Ontario, Saskatchewan, Vancouver, Victoria) that links performance athletes and coaches with essential services to give them the physical, psychological and competitive edge to reach the podium. Working with the existing sport system, the centres coordinate access and delivery of services including sport science and technology, strength and conditioning and sport psychology.
